Dogs Do This When We Cry In Front Of Them....

Here's something that you may have suspected if you own a dog.....

A study published in the online journal Animal Cognition showed that our canine friends were more likely to approach a person that was crying (even a stranger) than someone who was simply talking or humming.

A person crying was shown to evoke a stronger more emotional response from dogs and our canine friends often responded to human weeping with more submissive behaviour than if the person was simply humming or talking.

The study concluded that the dogs could differentiate between the natural and more emotional behaviours and their response to crying was driven by more than natural curiosity.
